Greenwood Great House Greenwood Great House is the finest antique museum in the Caribbean and indeed the greatest Great House in Jamaica.Built during an era of elegance and brutality, Greenwood has retained the atmosphere of the 19th century and continues to capture the imagination of its visitors.Built by the Barretts of Wimpole Street London in 1800, The home still has much of its original furniture. 9. Appleton, Black River and Y.S. Falls This nature loving experience will take you south coast of the island, to the capital of St. Elizabeth, through the breathtaking two-mile arch of bamboo famously called “Holland Bamboo”. The scenic route passes through the small villages to take you to Appleton rum factory- the oldest distillery in Jamaica, to tour the factory and learn about the historical production of the award winning Appleton rum. There you will also get a chance to taste and buy the aged rum. Then it’s on to the exciting boat ride along the black river, to explore rare mangroves, the friendly crocodiles and other native plants and animal life. Then cool down in the sparkling water of the YS fall, one of Jamaica’s finest natural attractions.
